Rahul falls in love with her at first sight and tries to impress her. He comes across as a bold yet innocent gangster who feels that he can solve every problem of his people through violence. He also claims that he will not harm any lady which leads to a love triangle between him, Shraddha Sharma, and Rohit Shetty . The first half of the movie focuses on how Rahul becomes a gangster and how he makes enemies with one particular gangster, Phagu. The second half of the film has to do with what happens between Rahul and Shraddha Sharma as well as what consequences Rahul has to face for choosing this path. He starts losing his friends to the police as well as his lover because he keeps failing to keep them safe. He does not want to let Shraddha be part of his life because she keeps making him feel like he is not doing enough and that he is taking the wrong path. However, when Shraddha finds out where Rahul lives, she is determined to bring him down. She wants to expose the underworld in her news channel. However, when she finds herself in danger of losing life, she realizes that this game is not worth it and that Rahul might actually be the right person for her. This movie is considered one of the best bollywood films ever made. It contains an excellent plot line with tons of twists and turns throughout the film. It highlights some very important issues like how political figures make alliances with gangsters in order to get votes during elections or how gangsters treat their families after spending years away from them while trying to maintain their reputations as respectable men in society.
